Eenie wants to say hello to all who live in the garden. He is going - first - carefully around the flower gardens and greets his flower friends- the daisies, tulips, roses and sunflowers. He greets them one by one with a smile:
“Hello everyone- how are you?”
All the flowers smile and say “Hello Eenie- we have found a friend in the garden!”
“That is exciting” says Eenie - “So who are they and where are they?”
The sunflower whispers “if you look carefully you will find him - he is very shy”.
“Which way shall I go?” Asks Eenie.
“Perhaps down by the shed near the bins- do go and see”.
“Thank you very much” says Eenie. “I would love to meet a new friend”.
Eenie goes very carefully down the lawn to the shed and explores all around. Who could be hiding there?
“Hello!” Eenie calls out - it is very quiet and peaceful in the lovely sunny garden and there is no sound of anyone. Eenie waits patiently because he knows how being shy makes everyone quiet
After a few minutes he hears some gentle snoring sounds - they are coming from behind the bins near the shed! Eenie moves gently and claps his hands in surprise! Guess who is enjoying a nap in the shade? Harry Hedgehog!
“Hello Harry!” Eenie calls.
Harry opens one eye and begins to grin - what a lovely hello surprise! It is an Eenie hello - so friendly and kind!
“So nice to see you- hello Eenie - let’s go and play on this lovely day!”
“What fun! Yes we can enjoy this sunny garden together!”
